Class Descriptions
Combo (tap, ballet & tumbling)
Combo classes are 45 minutes in length. During each class, students will be learning the basic techniques of Tap, Ballet, and Tumbling. Students will explore the variety of dance with music and movement. Students in combo classes will need a leotard, tights, tap and ballet shoes. Hair must be pulled up into a ponytail.
Jazz/ Hip Hop
Students will learn the fundamentals and techniques of Jazz and Hip Hop. Dancers will explore turns, leaps, kicks, and multiple dance routines to today’s hottest music. This is a great class for those who are wanting to dance like their favorite stars on TV. Students will need to wear dance attire such as shorts/pants and a tank top with jazz shoes. Please have hair pulled up into a ponytail.
Jazz/ Tumbling
Students will begin to learn the fundamentals and techniques of Jazz during 30 mins of the class . Dancers will explore turns, leaps, kicks, and multiple dance routines. Dancers will also begin to learn the basic tumbling skills during the other 30 mins of class. Students will begin to explore, forward and backward rolls, hand stands, cart wheels, bridges, and so much more. Students will need to wear dance attire such as shorts/pants and a tank top with jazz shoes. Please have hair pulled up into a ponytail.
Broadway Babies, Stars, Rockettes, Headliners, Fire & Diva
L.A. Dance offers a competitive dance company that performs at multiple events throughout the year. Students Must audition to become a part of the L.A
. Dance Company Group. Company members are required to take all forms of dance and participate in outside activities. Company auditions are held once a year. Please inquire with Miss Lora if your child is interested in becoming part of the L.A. Dance Company Group.
